McAfee to acquire SolidCore Systems
Security software maker McAfee has announced that they are acquiring privately held SolidCore Systems.
SolidCore Systems specializes in developing programs to protect automated bank tellers and other specialized computers.
This acquisition would help McAfee expand their product and services portfolio.
Company Chief Executive Dave DeWalt added in a statement that the company is improving its performance despite the slowdown in the global economy.
SolidCore already has more than 100 financial institutions and 15000 retail stores as customers.
