Bajaj Auto finally decides to take on Honda Activa
Bajaj Auto was once the leading scooter manufacturer in India.
Things changed and they are left with only one product in this segment which is now dominated by Honda.
Bajaj has announced that they are working on a brand new scooter model that would take on the Honda Activa.
This model is however still years away as the company aims to launch it by 2011.
Bajaj said: “We want to develop a scooter with a USP that is rooted in specific technology.”
The company added that their car project with Renault and Nissan is on track and they would launch it as per the schedule in 2011.

it is really interesting that, bajaj is deciding at last to get into their scooter segment., also and very sure that they will win the market with a major share, provided they shold introduce a tested one (wave is really a very good designed scooter but i dont know why it is dropped? -reintroducing solving all problems for which it is dropped will defenitely click in the market)because people are afried of thier sudden drop of model and non availability of spares (if rajeev md, bajaj is ready then i will talk to him for some of my ideas and opinions

The news that mahindra has taken over kinetic is buzzing all around,they are coming up with these power scooters, all these other scooters like scooty pepp, nova, aviator looks very feminine,these scooters are much more powerful and mature in looks,
