IBM establishes an innovation center in Vietnam
IBM has announced that they have now setup their first “innovation center” in Vietnam.
The company is now working with leading Vietnamese universities for this center.
IBM Innovation Center has been established in Ho Chi Minh City. IBM said that this new center would develop “new technologies to support demand for digital infrastructure projects in banking, telecommunications, energy and government industries.
They are working with Vietnam National University’s University of Technology in Ho Chi Minh City and with VNU’s College of Technology in Hanoi for this new project.
IBM representative Jim Corgel spoke about this new development: “With this IBM Innovation Center and new university collaborations, we are able to make IBM’s technical resources and expertise more accessible to fuel innovation and help local businesses and academics compete on a global scale.”
