Skoda new small car for India could be priced at around Rs. 3 lakh!
Skoda Fabia is currently the cheapest offering from Skoda in the Indian market.
It is priced in the premium bracket and competes with Maruti Suzuki Swift and Hyundai i20.
The company is said to be working on a brand new car that can be priced much lower at around Rs. 3 lakh price bracket.
It would put it in direct competition with Maruti Suzuki Alto which is currently the largest selling car in the Indian market.
This is the segment of the market which generates the maximum sales in India. Skoda needs to have a presence in this segment to become a bigger player in this market.
GM India has Spark while Hyundai offers their Santro. Tata Indica is another model in this price range.
