Jonathan Rubinstein is the new CEO of Palm
Palm has borrowed a lot from Apple in the last couple of months. Palm Pre is inspired by Apple iPhone and Palm webOS is inspired by Apple iPhone mobile platform.
They have now named Jonathan Rubinstein as their new CEO.
Jonathan Rubinstein was previously an Apple executive connected with the Apple iPod range of products.
He would take over from Ed Colligan who is stepping down as the company boss.
Rubinstein spoke about these new responsibilities: “With Palm webOS we have 10-plus years of innovation ahead of us, and the Palm Pre is already one of the year’s hottest new products.”
He is already the chairman of the company.
