AOL acquires Patch Media Corp. and Going Inc.
US based internet media giant AOL has announced two new acquisitions aimed to further expand their range of web properties.
AOL is now acquiring Patch Media Corp. and Going Inc.
Both of these deals are low value acquisitions. AOL is paying less than USD 10 million for each of these web properties.
This is the first acquisition deal announced by AOL since Tim Armstrong was announced their new CEO.
Tim Armstrong was previously working at Google.
Patch is based in New York while Going is located in Boston. AOL is aiming to boost their localized services through these new acquisitions.
