Honda India might launch Honda CR-V Diesel this year
Market sources say that Honda India is planning to launch the diesel edition of their CR-V SUV in the Indian market.
This model could be launched before the end of the current year.
This would become the first diesel product from the Japanese automaker in the Indian market.
Honda CR-V Diesel if launched could become another best seller for the company as Indian customers now prefer high performance diesel cars over petrol ones.
Competition for this model includes: Chevrolet Captiva, Hyundai Tucson, and Nissan X-Trail.
Honda is expected to price the diesel version of CR-V at around Rs. 23-25 lakhs.
