Renault to keep Indian plans on track

Renault has had a less than spectacular launch in the Indian market.

The company launched their Logan sedan in the market in collaboration with Mahindra.

The car failed to generate much excitement and the company is not selling too many units in the market.

The company has however said that they are still focused on the Indian market.

Renault said that they have chalked out robust plans for the Indian car market in the not-too-distant future.

Marc Nassif, country general manager and executive director, Renault India had this to say: “It is important for us to speed up our activities in India because we do not have the luxury of time now. I know a step-by-step approach is always seen as being sensible but it is equally important not to stop. There is also no question of abandoning the Indian project.”
