Bandra – Worli sea link set to open this month
People living in Mumbai would soon get some relief in the form of the Bandra-Worli sea link.
It is currently scheduled to open by the end of the current month.
The project was commissioned by the Maharashtra State Roadways Development Corporation and the Maharashtra Government.
It has been manufactured by the Hindustan Construction Company.
It has a toll plaza which contains 16 lanes. As the name suggests it connects Bandra and Worli regions in the Mumbai city.
Experts believe that this link would decrease the time required to travel from one end to another from 60-90 minutes to below 10 minutes.
For frequent travellers, this sea link would be a god send.
