Microsoft to sell its digital agency Razorfish
Industry sources are claiming that US based software giant Microsoft is now planning to sell its digital agency named Razorfish.
Microsoft has said to have hired the services of Morgan Stanley to find a potential buyer for this property.
Publicis Groupe is said to be interested in acquiring Razorfish.
Microsoft had gained Razorfish through their acquisition of aQuantive in 2007. The deal was worth close to around USD 6 billion.
Market analysts believe that Microsoft should be able to sell this division for around $600 million to $700 million.
Razorfish is a pretty big player in its segment with high profile clients including McDonald’s and Carnival Cruise Lines.
