Tata Motors to make Rs. 1 Lakh Car in West Bengal
Tata Motors Limited is set to confirm that they are going to set up a plant for its ambitious Rs one lakh car project in West Bengal.
The Chief Minister of the state Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee revealed this news to the media on Friday. Mr. Bhattacharjee had a meeting with the Managing Director of Tata Motors, Mr. Ravi Kant in the morning and confirmed that the company has finally decided to setup their base in the state for this huge project.
He added that the government was talking with the automaker for the last two months and had several rounds of discussions during this period.
However, Tata Motors are yet to decide on the exact location in the state for this plant. This process is expected to take another two weeks.
