Sony Xperia II could run Google Android!
Market rumours are claiming that Sony has been working on a new generation Xperia smartphone that would be powered by Google Android mobile platform.
The current version of course comes loaded with Windows Mobile.
Sony Ericsson has already made a mistake of not getting into the Android mobile phone market early.
HTC already has become the dominant player in this segment while Samsung and Motorola are going to launch their products by the end of the year.
Sources say that the next Sony Ericsson Xperia model would be powered with the Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon platform. This could mean that the phone could have a processor capable of 1GHz processing.
The phone is also likely to feature a powerful 8 megapixel digital camera.
Sony Ericsson as expected has not revealed anything on their future line-up.
