GM USA might sell new cars through eBay

US based automaker GM has revealed that they are in talks with eBay to sell their cars online through their online store.

GM plans to sell their new cars on eBay. Web users would be able to bid on them to get possible discounts.

They would still be able to get them at the list price by using the Buy it now option.

GM said that they are still in talks with eBay for this innovative new partnership. The cars sold through eBay would be delivered by their distributors in the US market.

eBay has a dedicated service for automobiles.

GM cars on a site that now sells largely remaindered stuff or overstock items – sure… that fits. Check out the blogs and see just how hated eBay has become, how poor a market place for small sellers or buyers – it’s managed to generate itself a whole passel of “bad-will”, and this is reflected in the dropping numbers of sellers, buyers, and site visits. GM shouldn’t tie itself to a falling star – and get tarred with eBAY’s bad-vibe brush.
