Bavina Cars India to launch electric car in India
Bavina Cars India would become the latest player in the Indian market to launch electric cars.
They are currently setting up their operations in Tamil Nadu.
Bavina aims to launch their car in the Indian market by 2011.
They are investing close to around Rs. 300 crores initially. The aim is to have a production capacity of 25,000 units annually from 2011.
Reva Electric Car Company is the only player in the Indian market offering electric cars. However, most of their products are sold internationally.
Tata Motors has also stated that they are aiming to launch electric versions of Nano and Indica in the future.

The problem is no producers are thinking outside the square.
You don’t need a ‘motor’ under the bonnet!
Each wheel can be an electric motor combined with breaking.
The car is then much lighter, with better performance and economy. Due to a combined computerised wheel/break/motor design.
