Rumours: Amazon.com could acquire Netflix
Netflix is one of the most interesting companies in the US market today. The movie rental company is performing well and is also working hard on expanding their digital services.
The latest rumour in the market is that Amazon is considering acquiring Netflix.
The reports of a possible deal between the two companies resulted in major boost in the stock price of Netflix which competes with Blockbuster in the DVD rental market.
Netflix is incidentally a rival to Amazon in the digital delivery of movies online.
Netflix and Amazon have declined to comment on these rumours.
