Tata Nano deliveries to begin from today

Tata Motors has announced that the deliveries of their Nano model would begin from today.

Company chairman Ratan Tata would hand over the keys to the first of the Nano owners from a company showroom at Prabhadevi, Mumbai.

The company declined the reveal the name of the first proud owner of Tata Nano. However, it would not be a celebrity.

This would be a great moment of success for the company as Nano would finally appear on the country roads.

The company has already decided the names of the first one lakh customers who would get the deliveries before more customers can apply for the Tata Nano car.

Incidentally, it is still impossible to get a test drive of Nano in Tata showrooms.
