Delhi Metro Rail Corporation to repair properties damaged in accident

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has announced that they would undertake the repair process of the properties damaged in the recent accident at one of the sites of construction.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation said: “The shops and houses which were damaged have been assessed and an action plan for their repair is underway.”

Last week, one of the under-construction bridge of Delhi Metro collapsed in South Delhi. The incident killed six people in addition to causing a lot of damage in the properties around the region.

DMRC added: “The Metro engineers inspected the site in detail and clarified that these cracks were pre-existing and not connected with the rail project’s construction.”
