Hewlett-Packard acquires IBRIX
US based tech giant HP has announced their decision to acquire IBRIX.
HP said that this acquisition would help them boost their enterprise storage offerings.
IBRIX specializes in offering enterprise-class file-serving software solutions like data protection and data management services.
HP said: “Customers need highly scalable storage solutions that efficiently and cost-effectively manage massive amounts of information. This acquisition expands our portfolio to better support the needs of this market segment. In addition, IBRIX’s highly scalable software leverages industry-standard hardware, allowing customers to fully maximize their existing investments.”
