Cisco Systems cut jobs at their headquarters

Cisco Systems has announced a job cut at their headquarters and at some other locations.

The company said that with these job cuts they have reached closed to their goal of reducing their workforce by around 2000 employees.

Cisco said that the long term goal is to cut costs to stay competitive in these tough times.

Incidentally, this latest round of job cuts was revealed in a news post by the Wall Street Journal.

The company said in a statement: “We are doing everything possible to minimize the impact on employees affected.”
