Reva Electric Car Company to build a new plant in Bangalore
Reva Electric Car Company has announced their plans to establish a new manufacturing plant in Bangalore.
This plant would probably be the world’s largest electric car manufacturing plant capable of manufacturing 30,000 units annually.
Manufacturing costs are around Rs. 30 crores.
They are aiming to have the plant ready by 2011.
Electric cars are becoming more popular globally as eco-friendliness has become a hot topic.
Reva is currently the only electric car maker in the Indian market but most of their units are exported for sale in the international market.
