Proton wants to enter Indian automobile market
Malaysian car maker Proton has revealed that they want to enter the growing Indian market.
They have been trying to enter this market since the last couple of years.
Even had talks with the Indian automaker Mahindra & Mahindra in addition to contract manufacturer Argentum Motors.
Proton said in its statement: “We will be launching new programmes regionally, specifically in ASEAN, China, India and the Middle East… Proton will leave no stone unturned in our vision to strengthen our brand equity within the local and regional arena.”
The company has however declined to reveal concrete plans to launch their cars in the Indian market.
