Kingfisher Airlines might collaborate with Air Mauritius

Kingfisher Airlines has plans to collaborate with Air Mauritius to allow Indian passengers to fly to the tourist destination of Mauritius through their flights.

As of now, Air Mauritius is the only airline company operating flights between India and the island nation. They have flights originating from the metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai.

Raj Beedassy, Area Manager (South Asian subcontinent and Middle East), Air Mauritius said in a statement on this initiative: ‘‘We are in the process of talks with Kingfisher Airlines to feed our gateways and it looks positive.”

They have been taking since around a month and a decision can be taken by sometimes next month. A result of this collaboration would make it possible for passengers to take Kingfisher Airlines to destinations supported by Air Mauritius.

Air Mauritius already has similar pacts with Air India, Indian, Jet Airways and Air Sahara.
