Microsoft retail stores coming to Arizona and California

Microsoft has announced that the first of their retail stores are going to be opened in Arizona and California.

The company has already leased places in Mission Viejo, Calif. and Scottsdale, Ariz.

Incidentally, the location in California already holds an Apple Store.

Microsoft said that they picked up these two locations for the first two stores as they are big markets for the company.

These stores would sell computers in addition to Microsoft software and hardware products like Xbox 360 gaming console and Zune media players.

Microsoft plans to replicate the successful Apple Store model with these new retail stores.
