Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm collaborates for wireless services
Verizon Wireless and Qualcomm have announced that they would now work together to offer wireless services to industries like healthcare, manufacturing and utilities.
This joint venture company is expected to start working from next year. It would use Qualcomm products powered by Verizon networks.
The joint venture company would be owned 50-50 by both the companies. The financial aspects of this deal were not revealed to the media.
Verizon Wireless spoke about this deal: “The opportunity here for Verizon Wireless is to explode its open development business”
