Doordarshan to broadcast 2010 Commonwealth Games in high definition
Indian government has announced that they are providing funds to Doordarshan to upgrade their infrastructure to provide the feed for 2010 Commonwealth Games in high definition.
These funds are being provided from the 11th plan allocation of Prasar Bharati.
Doordarshan and All India Radio are the official broadcaster of the upcoming 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
However, it remains to be seen how competently Doordarshan is able to provide the programming in high quality resolutions.
