Maruti Suzuki: Exports to cross 1 lakh cars this year

Maruti Suzuki India has some good news for their investors.

The company has said that their export operations are pretty successful and they are aiming to export more than 1 lakh units this year.

Maruti said in their statement: “Maruti cars are exported to over 100 countries and the volume of exports is likely to cross one lakh units in 2009-10.”

Maruti Suzuki A-Star is one of the primary models that is exported for sale in the international markets.

The company added that they are currently manufacturing around 10 lakh cars per year. And their market share in India is close to around 55%.
