Delhi Metro now serving more than 9 lakh passengers daily
The festival of Raksha Bhandan brought some good luck for the Delhi Metro.
They are now serving more than 9 lakh passengers on a daily basis.
Tuesday itself saw a record 9.92 lakh commuters travelling on the Metro.
This helped Delhi Metro make Rs. 1.24 crores on that day.
Monday was also a good day for Delhi Metro. They served around 9.26 lakh commuters that day.
DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal spoke about the new achievements: “According to a commuter survey, 43 per cent of Metro passengers use two or three trains during each trip. This means that the actual train occupancy yesterday was 14.21 lakh.”
