Common Admission Test 2009 would be held online

Things are changing at a rapid pace in the education sector in India.

The Common Admission Test for this year would be held online.

The format of the test would not be changed so the students have little to worry about the online test system.

The exam would be held over a period of 10 days and 2 batches would give the exam every day.

Prometric India has been given the duty to perform the test on behalf of the CAT.

A company representative said: “It is only that instead of a pencil and paper, the students appearing for the exam will be given computers to mark the correct answers. There will be no major change in the pattern of exam. Assuming that three lakh students register for the CAT in 2009 there would be a need for a minimum of 15,000 computers.”
