Sunday Times to be tested for paid access by News Corp
Market sources say that the British newspaper Sunday Times would become the test pad for the paid access service being planned by News Corp on all their news properties.
Sunday Times currently share their website with The Times daily.
News Corp would shift Sunday Times to its own website and the access would be made paid online.
News Corp chairman Rupert Murdoch recently announced that they are going to start charging for online access to their news services in the coming months.
The aim is to generate revenues by charging for access as online advertising just is not working for them.
