BMW continues to gain market share in India
BMW has been dominating the Indian luxury car segment in the Indian market.
The company registered a growth of 14 per cent in sales during the first six seven months of the year.
BMW is currently scheduled to launch two new models in the coming days.
These two new models are: BMW Z4 and BMW 7-Series.
This is likely to further boost their sales in the Indian market.
BMW India President Peter Kronschnabl spoke about their performance: “After seven months, we are number one. Our target is to stay number one in 2009 and we are very much on track.”
The company is aiming to sell more than 3000 cars in the current year.
