Delhi High Court: Airport Development Fee is legal

Disappointing news for the airline travellers in India.

Delhi High Court has ruled that the Airport Development Fee charged by Delhi and Mumbai airports is legal.

The court said that the airport authorities have taken the permission from the central government so the fees are legal.

The fee paid for using the airport adds up to the expense in travelling for the end customer.

The charges at the Delhi Airport are Rs. 200 for local passenger and Rs. 1300 for international traveller.

The charges at the Mumbai Airport are Rs. 100 for local and Rs. 600 for international travel.
