Hyundai i20 set to be exported to more markets
Hyundai India has revealed that they are now working on plans to expand the exports of their i20 premium hatchback.
The South Korean automaker is now going to sell it in other markets outside the Europe.
The company said that they are aiming to increase its export base to 42 new non-European countries.
Hyundai i20 is already being exported to about 47 countries most of which are in Europe.
The company has already stepped up the production of the car which remains in high demand even in the domestic market.
Hyundai India added: “Just as in the Indian market, i20 has been the most popular car overseas. Keeping this in mind, we have planned to increase our penetration in other key potential markets. This in turn also reiterates our commitment to emerge as a global hub for manufacturing and exporting small cars.”
