Mahindra & Mahindra looking at USA as their largest export market in the future
Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed that they are aiming to make USA their biggest export market once they start offering their products there.
Mahindra & Mahindra is currently scheduled to launch their vehicles in the US market next year.
The company exported around 9000 units of their SUVs and other vehicles to international market last fiscal.
They are aiming to boost the exports in the coming years.
Mahindra & Mahindra said in a statement: “We will start exporting our Scorpio platform vehicle in the US markets by February-March 2010. We plan to start with around 2,000 vehicles and hope that the US will be our biggest export market soon.”
The company added: “We are working on developing left-hand driving models for the African market, including our Xylo. Almost 70 per cent of the African market is left-hand drive market and we are currently working on developing vehicle for those markets.”
