Toyota aims to have 150 dealers in India by next year
Japanese automaker Toyota has revealed that they are aiming to have around 150 dealerships around the country by the end of next year.
The company has just opened their latest (90th) center in Delhi named Espirit Toyota.
Toyota India spoke at the event: “We started with 27 outlets in India in 2000 and we plan to expand our network to 150 dealerships by 2010.”
The company is aiming to massively expand their presence in the Indian market in the coming years.
They are already working on a small car model that should appear in India by 2011.
To market that car properly, they would need to have an extensive network throughout the country.
