Carl Icahn sold some stake in Yahoo

Carl Icahn is one of the biggest individual investor in the internet media giant Yahoo.

Icahn has now revealed that he recently sold 12.7 million shares to bring down his ownership to around 4.5 percent.

These shares were sold at prices ranging between $14.74 and $14.93.

Incidentally, Icahn had purchased these shares at priced close to around USD 25 which makes it a terrible investment.

The billionaire investor however stated that he is optimistic about the company which recently entered a long term deal with Microsoft.
