Ford Small Car in India early next year
Ford Motor has announced that they are on track to launch their small car in the Indian market early next year.
This model is very crucial for the company to ensure their success in India which is dominated by compact cars.
Hatchbacks are very popular in this market and Ford wants a slice of this ever growing segment.
Maruti Suzuki India is the dominating automaker in the market mostly because of their huge portfolio of small fuel efficient cars.
The company said in a statement: “Ford is already conducting preproduction test building of its new car in the facility and will be gearing up in the fourth quarter of 2009 toward the start of volume production in the new year.”

Good to know that Ford is also coming up with a fuel efficient small car. Fuel efficiency is very important. As far as look are concerned I think every car should give a feel like the Diamond White Xylo I just checked out here http://www.mahindraxylo.co.in. I think that it is a beautiful looking car and when the look and feel of a car is concerned, it should be like this one.
