Toyota Fortuner is already a hit in India
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has revealed that they have already received more than 5000 bookings for their recently launched sports utility vehicle model Fortuner.
The company said: “The company expects to sell over 2,500 units of Fortuner by the end this year and trying to ramp-up monthly production from 500 to 600 units to meet high customer demand.”
Toyota Fortuner is a success for the company globally as well. They have sold over 2,50,000 units in around 60 markets around the world since its launch.
The company is now focusing on their small car model that is likely to go on sale in India sometime later next year or early 2011.
