Hero Honda likely to stay connected with Honda in the future
Honda Siel Cars India president and CEO Masahiro Takedagawa has been quoted as saying that the parent company Honda has no reason to move away from their joint venture with Hero.
Hero Honda is the world’s largest bike manufacturer.
Honda itself is present in India independently as well in the two-wheeler market. They sell both bikes and scooters.
In fact, Honda and Hero Honda products compete with each other in several segments.
Takedagawa said: ““Our business is showing good growth, profitability and giving good dividends. As a result, the share price of Hero Honda is at a record high. So, logically, there is no reason for us to split”.
