Marc Andreessen is now a Hewlett Packard board member
HP has announced the appointment of Marc Andreessen to their board.
HP’s chairman and CEO Mark Hurd said in a statement that Andreessen is a “software pioneer whose leadership has helped shape the Internet. Marc’s entrepreneurial background and industry expertise will be a welcome addition to the HP board of directors.”
Marc Andreessen is mostly known for his involvement with Netscape. He was a co-founder of this company which revolutionized the web with their web browsing offering.
He also is on the company boards of both eBay and Facebook.
