Pre boost smartphone sales for Palm
Palm has become one of major challengers to the dominating Apple in the smartphone market with the launch of their Pre.
The company has now reported that Pre helped them boost their sales by 134% to 823,000 units during the latest quarter.
However, they are still struggling in terms of revenues as the company posted its ninth consecutive quarterly loss.
Palm CEO Jon Rubenstein is optimistic about the future. He said: “With the launch of the Pre, we accomplished one of our most crucial milestones. Now we’re focused on growth. We’re confident we’re on the path to success.”
