Tata Motors European Technical Centre gets a loan from UK government
Tata Motors has announced that their UK based subsidiary Tata Motors European Technical Centre has received a loan of £10 million from the UK government.
These funds are to develop electric vehicles for sale in the UK market.
These funds have been provided under the UK government’s automotive assistance programme.
This program is to promote the development of environment friendly technologies in cars.
The company is all set to launch their first electric car later this year. The company would sell Tata Indica Vista EV in some European markets. This model would offer a range of up to 200 km.
