Naza Group launches Bestari compact car
Just a month after the company launched Naza Sutera mini-car, the Naza Group has now launched its own new 206 Bestari compact car.
They are aiming at selling 10,000 units of this car in the first year itself in both the local and the international market.
The car has been developed in collaboration with French carmaker Automobiles Peugeot. It is being produced and distributed by subsidiary Naza Corp Sdn Bhd.
Naza group chairperson and chief executive officer Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin said in a statement that they are hoping that this car grabs a large share of the fast growing B-segment market.
The competition for this car is formidable with models like Honda Jazz, Chevrolet Aveo, Suzuki Swift and the recently launched Toyota Yaris competing in the same market.
The 206 Bestari would be made available in six colors: Midnight Black, Quartz Blue, Quick Silver, Racy Red, Aegean Blue and Svelte Grey.
