Larry Ellison not happy with delay over Sun Microsystems acquisition
Oracle CEO Larry Ellison has revealed that Sun Microsystems is losing around USD 100 million every month.
Oracle is in the process of acquiring Sun but the deal has been delayed by the European regulatory bodies.
He said: “The longer this takes, the more money Sun is going to lose.”
The announcement of the acquisition deal has caused mostly damage to Sun. Their customers are moving to rival companies.
Oracle has publicly stated that they are going to invest and expand operations at Sun Microsystems.
Sun’s ownership of MySQL is said to be the primary reason for the delays as it is an open source competition to Oracle.
