Tata Nano already popular in second hand market?

Industry sources say that Tata Nano is being sold in the second hand market for a premium.

This car was launched earlier this year and only one lakh customers are going to get it first.

The shortage of this model means that the lucky owners are preferring to sell it for a premium.

Sources say that Tata Nano could fetch a premium of as much as 30% in the second hand market.

The top end model provides the best offer for the owner of the car.

Tata Motors is working hard on their new plant which would manufacture the Nano car.

Once production starts at that plant, deliveries would be faster and demand in the second hand market would drop sharply.

Till then, Nano is likely to remain a hot buy in the second hand market.

Tata Nano – people’s car, is one in demand and popularity. Thanks to the well designed and efficiently executed promotion and pulicity programs.

The same is also attributed to

1). A forever wish for car lovers who can afford to own at the first.

2). The car is not so common on road so it can be put in the eyecatcher category.

3). With economy showing signs of revival now even indian middle class is now looking to be happy and open to spend there bit on luxuries.

4). Demand v/s Supply gap. There are definately more willing buyers with money to pay for the car in this market. thus a management perspective all 4 p’s (product, place, price, promotion and an opportunity in market exists).

5). Demand in second hand market, partly driven by many of above mentioned points and partly for premium on the car in the second hand market that holds strong chance for this demand v/s supply gap.

6). Few proud owners who have owned the car as of now also are very positive on feedback.

7). Small, sleak and stylish at design this car is easy to drive in busy traffic.

8). Even Though Cheapest on planet has some of the features for everyone. With Variants

9). Availing Finance is also easy.

    10). Festive season.

True. Tata has a winner in their hands. They just need to make sure service experience is good.

I own a Fiat Linea and I hate going to Tata service stations.
