Verizon Wireless could drop plans to offer Palm Pre
Verizon had recently stated that they were planning to offer Palm Pre to their customers once the exclusive deal between Sprint and Palm ends.
Industry sources now claim that the company could drop the plans to launch Pre on their network mostly because Pre sales have been largely disappointing.
The company could however launch another model powered by Palm webOS platform in the near future.
Verizon representative could not provide a definite answer to whether they are working on the Pre launch in the future.
Market experts believe strongly that Verizon needs to get a worthy challenger to the market which could compete against Apple iPhone and Google Android powered devices.
