Volkswagen Polo confirmed launch next year in India
Volkswagen has confirmed that Polo would arrive in Indian market sometime next year.
The German automaker has been working hard to make sure it is priced competitively when launched.
Polo is a global hatchback model which is popular around the world.
It would become the first mass market product to be offered in India by Volkswagen.
Rivals to this model include:
Maruti Suzuki Swift, Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz, Chevrolet UVA and Fiat Punto.
The company said in a statement: “We have heavily invested in the plant at Pune and right now, the pre-production stage is going on and we should launch Polo by next year.”
