Maruti Suzuki developing dual-fuel engines for their cars

Maruti Suzuki India has revealed that they have been developing dual-fuel engines for use on their cars.

This new innovative engine technology would work with both petrol and CNG as fuel source.

Current CNG technologies are externally fitted and they do not end up providing the best results. Power drop is substantial.

Maruti claims that their internal CNG technology would be much more efficient and would not result in a power drop while running the car on CNG.

The company claims that running the engine on CNG would result in significant drop in fuel bills considering it is much cheaper than petrol.
