General Motors India sold 7,654 cars last month

General Motors India has revealed that they sold 7,654 cars in the Indian market last month.

This is a personal record for the company which is scheduled to launch two new models in the coming months.

GM India had sold 5,154 cars in September 2008 so its a good improvement.

Chevrolet Spark was the shining star in their stable selling 4,706 units.

The company also managed to sell 1,329 units of Chevrolet Tavera and 753 units of Chevrolet Aveo U-VA.

GM India also has other models on sale in the Indian market including Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Optra and Chevrolet Captiva.
