Bajaj Auto sold 2,80,916 vehicles last month
Indian automaker Bajaj Auto is performing well in the domestic market.
The company sold 2,80,916 vehicles last month.
This is an improvement of around 14% compared to September 2008.
Out of these around 2,49,795 were two wheelers.
The company said majority of these sales were in the higher end of the market (Pulsar and Discover). Bajaj sold around 71,000 units of the recently launched Discover DTS-Si model.
Bajaj Pulsar saw sales of around 56000 units.
The company is now all set to launch the imported bike Kawasaki Ninja 250R next week.
