Tons of new SUVs set to arrive in India

Customers in USA are switching from SUVs to fuel efficient cars but the opposite is happening here in India.

Indian market is largely dominated by small cars. But a lot of new car buyers are turning their attention to sports utility vehicles.

And automakers are responding with new exciting launches.

Here are some of the new models that are likely to go on sale in the coming months…

Hyundai has been working hard on bringing their Hyundai Santa Fe model to the Indian market. This model could become the next best seller from Hyundai.

Volkswagen are likely to launch their Volkswagen Tiguan SUV next in India. The company is doing extremely well in India and this model is expected to sell well.

Skoda Yeti has been making news since years now. We are likely to see its arrival in India in the coming months.

Audi is likely to launch their Audi Q3 to expand their product portfolio in India.

Maruti Suzuki India are likely to bring to India a diesel variant of their Grand Vitara SUV.

BMW is working on launching their X1 SUV model to India.

Nissan has big plans for India. The company is aiming to launch around a dozen new models in India by 2012. Nissan Murano would be one of these.

Tata Motors and Mahindra are developing brand new models to expand their range of SUVs in the domestic market.

Toyota has of course already launched their Fortuner SUV model which has become the latest hit in India.
